Delightfully crisp with notes of Meyer lemon with a balanced minerality. — 8 months ago
If you want Napa cab, I can’t imagine a better wine that fits the bill. I love Rutherford so this is perfect. Dust covered wild picked blackberries, cedar, some pine, a hint of dark chocolate on the nose. Palate is chocolate covered raspberries, more cedar, bit of green pepper, also white pepper, plums, dirt, and the tiny hint of candy orange. This opened up after an hour. Also improved tasting outside. Is this winery underrated because they make a lot of wine? Are the 500 dollar Napa bottles that much better or just status? — 10 months ago
a little jammy out of the bottle, but smoothed out nicely given some time to breath; think I’ll decant the next bottle to accelerate the process; decent value at $23 — 19 days ago
Primarily Merlot! Bright garnet color. Ripe red and black berry fruit on the nose with hints of smoke and black pepper spice. Dark berry and plum on the pallet with hints of vanilla, forest floor and toast. Dry, fresh and nicely balanced. Medium bodied, so this one is not overpowering. Solid structure and texture along with pleasant medium tannins. Nice wine, Ron B! — 2 months ago
