We had this with a smoked Picanha roast…. Spectacular — 4 days ago
Probably at peak. Refreshing, with mature winey palate. Great with food. Tasted July 2021. — 12 days ago
Prior notes still apply, delicious bottle.
Nose has toasted brioche, grilled lemon, warm lemon creme, lemon zest, oxidized pear slice and fresh, rising bread dough. Palate has lemon pound cake, cold toast, limestone chips, dried lemon slice and (light) candied orange.
Great mid-palate, a restrained richness is all elegance, acid balance is perfect and not pulling you one way or another. At 15 years past vintage, a great example of finesse in Champagne.
On the Lawn at Tanglewood this evening with the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Our Conductors Andris Nelsons and John Williams will be leading a very engaging program of Jessie MONTGOMERY (Starburst), John WILLIAMS (Violin Concerto No. 2, world premiere featuring Anne-Sophie Mutter!), COPLAND (Quiet City) and STRAVINSKY (Suite from The Firebird, 1919 version). We're getting the luxury of enjoying Mr. Williams two nights in a row...what a great weekend of Contemporary music! — 12 days ago
Had with 1000 day aged gouda, very good, $3.99 — 2 days ago
This is a nice and easy drinking Riesling from Columbia Valley.
Showing citrus, limes, lemons, spices, light diesel and minerals.
Medium bodied with high acidity. Well balanced, crisp and refreshing.
Dry to off dry on the palate with a tangy finish and better when properly chilled.
Good by itself or with food. Will pair nicely with spicy food.
12.5% alcohol by volume.

Not so fruity, light, on the drier side. Very drinkable. Would buy again to drink while cooking. Drank while making Pati Jinich’s chicken tinga with Sami in a severe heat wave/drought and record dangerous levels of AQI due to Canadian wild fires. — 5 days ago
