This is a blend, nothing less from Prisoner: Cab with Merlot, Syrah, Malbec, Petite Sirah and splash of Charbono, aged for 15 months in French and American oak (55% new). Deep Ruby with aromas of dark berry fruits, cedar and sweet spice. On the palate flavors of black cherry and blackberry with notes of vanilla, oak and cinnamon. Fine tannins, long finish, lively acidity, nice mouthfeel ending with fruit and spice. Nice! — 2 years ago

Cant tell which varietal this is. I believe Zinfandel blend? Very bold. Not spicy, but not profile. Lots of oak. Enjoying with thick New York cut. — 8 days ago
