Gravel, forest floor tones on the nose. Smooth finish. Good entry into drinking more French wine, definitely unique — 6 months ago
Still lots of tannin. Decant and leave for an hour or so. — 3 days ago
Enjoy quite good aroma with black currant and modest oak. Comfortable sweetness and tanning, acidic, well balanced at high level. A bit tannic and alcohol rich means a bit young? as of less than a hour. Enough decanting would help it show amazing good black currant aroma with balanced elegant mid body. 2015 @2200, wine plus -, 220423-220526 — 2 months ago
Star bright straw yellow. Shy nose of dried quince and honeysuckle. Medium bodied palate of quince, honeysuckle, balsam, and a hint of white pepper on the moderate finish. A bit more woody than I’m used to, but not in an overpowering way. Just very present. Trout almandine would be an excellent match for this classic Bordeaux Blanc. Drink now through 2023 (preferably sooner). — 9 months ago

First sip after opening was incredibly watery and light.
Took about 3 hours to open up and show. And then it was exactly as expected with great depth and fruit. Solid backbone and balance.
