Jammy, full body, dark ruby great wine — a month ago
Dark overripe blackberry, overripe black plums (or pluots even for the added sweetness), sweet potpourri (roses), vanilla, sweetened dark chocolate. Overall sweet nose. Very lush, almost no tannins, with just a minimal amount of acidity on the top of the tongue, then the underside. There’s spice on the palate (black pepper, not cracked), with dark fruit, less ripe, and most definitely dark chocolate, touch of oak. This worked really well with slow roasted short ribs. — 11 days ago

Caymus? CS flavor first, but pure Shiraz. Later on, more concentrated and fruity. Black, plum, sweet jam, slightly spicy. Balanced at high level. 2017 @6000, XH ,200904 — a month ago
Received this Caymus Cab 2017 from Ileana for my birthday.
Drinking it now, just the two of us with Fillet Mignon.
Outstanding wine, berries forward, smooth silky , velvety long finish.
