Very bold, oaky finish. Sugary, but nothing over the top. — 3 months ago
Great, bolder flavor that is great on the tongue. The finish begins rich, but mellows quickly thereafter to a poignantly sugary syrup finish.
Unfortunately, the finish ends up being a little too sweet. This said, it does little to detract from the excellent aroma and complexity on-the-tongue. — a year ago
A surprisingly good blend! It's got a certain something that balances out the bold and sugary initial flavor to create a fantastic, dry finish. — 2 months ago
Strong, bold taste right out of the bottle. Complex notes of brown sugar and oak. Very reminiscent of Caymus special! — 9 months ago
Deep, wooden cherry notes flourish both before and after the first taste. The flavor is sophisticated, yet simple. Nothing of note to end, but nothing negative to say about the beginning and middle. A very solid experience. — a year ago
Slight note of honey before the first draw. Bold, but smooth and fully bodied. The flavor is immediately reminiscent of something twice it's age. It's difficult or impossible to oversaturate the flavor on the finish, it's very dry without being too dry. — 3 months ago
A bold, full bodied wine with a fairly dry finish, and no shame. The flavor is improved many times after it opens up. — 10 months ago
Void of any oaky notes past the smell, this wine opened up to stale, muted tones. While not too unpleasant after the open, the initial taste was, to be blunt, that of foot.
Quite possibly the worst wine I've had in as many as five years. — a year ago
