Deep oak flavor with a peppery finish. Bold, but also sugary. Despite this, a fairly dry finish. — a year ago
Very bold, oaky finish. Sugary, but nothing over the top. — 2 years ago
A bold, full bodied wine with a fairly dry finish, and no shame. The flavor is improved many times after it opens up. — 2 years ago

Slight note of honey before the first draw. Bold, but smooth and fully bodied. The flavor is immediately reminiscent of something twice it's age. It's difficult or impossible to oversaturate the flavor on the finish, it's very dry without being too dry. — 2 years ago
A beautiful diamond in the rough that smells deeply of ancient oaks upon oncorking. The acidity matches the flavor well, like a mountain breeze that wakes the senses. — a year ago
A surprisingly good blend! It's got a certain something that balances out the bold and sugary initial flavor to create a fantastic, dry finish. — 2 years ago
Strong, bold taste right out of the bottle. Complex notes of brown sugar and oak. Very reminiscent of Caymus special! — 2 years ago
