Delectable, this is Chateau Saint-Roch's Kerbuccio grenache blend. Nice wine that's full bodied and heavy. Good for this evening's cool temps. Plum, blueberry, tobacco, spice. Soft and short finish, but very enjoyable. I had the cheaper counterpart the other night, and this one scores a point higher. Also 65% Grenache 35% Syrah.

3.4. Lovely, fresh, smooth tasting with some gentle spice, Lorax wine from Cotes de Rhône. ‘$25 (23 Euro) at Le Petit Chose, Venasque, Provence, France — 4 years ago
My goodness, this is very delicious. 65% Grenache and 35% Syrah. Each grape pulls its weight in this blend, to great effect. Dark, brooding fruit with smoke and heat, but soft in the mouth. A short finish, maybe a little flabby, but it just tastes so good. I'm enjoying it with a hedonistic little charcuterie for one, and Ken Burns' country music documentary. — 6 months ago

Light, mineral and lemon accents, pairs very well with seafood. — 3 years ago
Aged southern Rhône plateauing I think. Garique nose. Red fruits on the palate, a bit stewed. I notice rosebottle, figs and wild strawberries. Medium acidity keeps it al in balance. Tertiary flavours all around: sunburnt dirt, leather, smoke, some tobacco, forest leaves. Medium long finish. Lovely wine. — 5 years ago

My first Saint-Bris! Pale lemon yellow color. Plush aromas of citrus fruit, white flowers, chalk and abundant fresh herbs. Flavors of unripe peach, all those savory herbs, green apple and lemon zest. Noticeable mineral backbone on the long and drawn out finish. Lively and crisp acidity. Medium-minus body and wonderful freshness. Vibrant and harmonious! There are Chablis comparisons here. Another example of outstanding white burgundy! — 3 months ago
