Amazing wine/ drank 2006 reserve- this wine can age longer I believe. Overall a very unique wine with tons of character- the tamisco grape is unique to the coastal region of Portugal - one of the old heirloom vines- and because I like thin mineral reds this is my dream come true for sipping wine! If you have a chance of getting this wine- Buy it by the case and hold on to it - very unique and should be more recognized for the hen that it is. — 5 years ago
Starts gentle and fruity. Balanced with leather and oak then Finishes tart. Seems pretty versatile was nice with Italian sausage and roasted veg. — 5 years ago
Interesting Portuguese wine, grown right by Colares but not in the DOC. Powerful wine, with dark red and black fruits, tobacco, tar, and great spice. High ABV, notable international the nose but less so on the palate. Available in NYC for a good bit less than $20 per bottle: not bad! — 3 years ago
Bit of plums and chocolate. Lovely smooth tannis. Incredible finish! Loved it — 5 years ago
Great wine. Very drinkable. Lots of fruit on the first smell, with more complex aromas emerging (forest right after the rain, and aromatic spices). Good balance on the palate, the finish is clean. The wine lingers for only a short time. — 5 years ago
Black fruits, cacao and oak. Very good for the price !! — 3 years ago

Delicious wine with ruby colour, balanced acidity, medium body, beautiful aromas of violet and strawberries.
Juicy wine with plums, strawberries, liquorice at taste in beggining and strawberry jam, coconuts in finish with tobacco nuances. — 5 years ago
