Superbe encore une fois. À peine réduit, Fruits blancs, poires, un peu de citron aussi. Une bouche fort équilibrée avec une texture irrésistible, acidité bien présente pour balancer une certaine richesse mais sans exces. 92-93
Great once more, nicely balanced, white fruit, some lemon peel, auch great texture and mouthfeel, nice delicious finish. — 3 days ago
Definitely the best bottle of this we have had - and unfortunately our last! No decant, but let this “slow ox” for several hours. Fun wine to cap off the week of our son’s first birthday. Dusty rose and some lovely earthy red fruit on the nose - almost like cherries or strawberries growing in a mushroom patch. Exquisite mouthfeel - hits every part of the mouth, perfect acid, great length, exceptionally seamless. Really one of the best wines I’ve had, ever. Paired with a simple roast chicken with mushrooms cooked in the chicken drippings. — 18 days ago
Baby Burgundy to round out the evening. Vivacious cherries and raspberries up front followed by violet florals and a weighty balsamico-like finish. A great gift from a very enthused guest. Cheers everyone! — 2 hours ago
2009. Mint, eucalyptus, cedar dust, dried raspberry, orange peel, pomegranate, and sage. Showing some brick tinges but no flavor deterioration. Cinnamon, cedar and dried maduro, savory, cranberry and dusty raspberry, roobios tea, cracked pepper, cardamom, nutmeg and a tiny bit of blistered pepper.
Intense and silky; shifting strata of immense complexity.

DAY 1
👃Perfumed orange florals, peppery lemon & minerals
👅More pretty & less intense than many PYCMs. Palate is medium bodied. Not totally dry
Remaing wine Slow Decanted in my refrigerator
DAY 14
Change in character vs Day 1. The subtle fruit has been shrouded by intense minerality
👅Flinty, smoky minerality with just enough lemon fruit. Nicely salty. Long bold and distinctly dry finish
Quite different on the 2 occasions. It was more delicate and very nice on Day 1 but I preferred the intensity & minerality that had developed by Day 14💕🥂

2020 vintage. Bordeaux meets Rhône in this original blend of Cabernet Sauvignon from La Lagune and Syrah from Jaboulet. Needs some time, so decant or give it 15 minutes in the glass. Black fruit ( blackberries, cassis) intertwined with Provence spices. Juicy and spicy, with complexity and very good length. Highly recommended. Abv. 13,5 %. — 6 days ago

2015 vintage. This is a red Savigny-lès-Beaune, so Pinot Noir from the " Monopole" vineyard " Clos des Guettotes". Château Corton-André was bought in 2014 by the Frey family and the name changed into Château Corton C. A good start for Caroline Frey (also Château La Lagune and Paul Jaboulet Ainé) with this delicious elegant Savigny with impeccable balance and velvety mouthfeel. Abv. 13%. — 5 days ago
