Rueda Verdejo 2018

A very nice drinkable white that went well with our pasta. It is pale yellow with the slightest green tinge. Aromas of stone fruit, herbs, and grass. A bit of minerality as well. Nice acidity. Crisp and refreshing. — 8 months ago

Reserva Rioja Tempranillo Blend 2014

A lovely wine, rich and smooth, that was a great match with the duck, veal tongue and flat iron steak. — 21 days ago

III a.C. Rioja Tempranillo 2015

Delectable Wine
9.4

Opaque ruby. Highly expressive, smoke- and oak spice-accented cherry liqueur and blueberry aromas are complemented by building floral, vanilla and tobacco nuances. Sappy, sweet and broad in the mouth, offering densely packed black and blue fruit, spicecake and floral pastille flavors that become livelier as the wine opens up. Shows excellent clarity and dark fruit thrust on the impressively long, oak-spiced finish, which is framed by polished, even tannins. All new French oak. (Josh Raynolds, Vinous, April 2021)

Rioja Tempranillo Blend 2017

This Beronia Crianza - the name signifies its oak treatment - shows a dark ruby color in the glass. The nose displays black fruit and oak aromas like spices and vanilla. The palate offers a true Tempranillo experience, with plum, blackberry and a smattering of licorice. The tannins are firm and ready to take on a steak, but if you try the wine with ham or cheese you won’t be disappointed. — 4 months ago

Rioja Rosé Blend 2019

I pick up a lot of herbal influence along with some terrific strawberry and cherry aromas. The fruit plays large on the palate, too. There is a hint of pepper in the sip. Acidity is fresh, nearly ripping, and the finish is all about the red fruit — a year ago
