Quite a nice wine, very smooth. From Auntie Jo. — 6 years ago
Darker yellow color veering into gold w/subtle greenish hues - no doubt darkened up from some bottle age. I love me some Verdejo and this did not disappoint. Initially gave off some oaky notes which was confusing. Ripe yellow citrus & orchard fruit mingled with herbs - rich leesy character… kept debating about oak treatment. I’ve had oaked Verdejo, but the mouthfeel confirmed this did not see any. Beautiful on palate, recalling nose, smooth & well-balanced, this paired beautifully w/our BAS (Big Ass Salad) of homemade smoked salmon, plenty of veggies & all kinds of briny stuff. I pick up a lot of herbal influence along with some terrific strawberry and cherry aromas. The fruit plays large on the palate, too. There is a hint of pepper in the sip. Acidity is fresh, nearly ripping, and the finish is all about the red fruit — 3 years ago
Drank at Quimera restaurant (Oliva) on 5th August 2018.
Dark cherry, purple border. Vanilla and spices on the nose. Fruity, berries, complex as it goes, vanilla and spices, long chocolate finish. Very good wine. — 5 years ago
