"Cuvée Corcelette" Morgon Gamay 2017

Un style de Bojo assez Bourguignon, frais, fin, élégant, acidité assez élevée, du fruit rouge en quantité, très bien.

Very nice Burgundian style Bojo, acidity a little high, fresh, elegant, gorgeous fruit, very nice.

Vieilles Vignes Grands Cras Morgon Gamay 2020

Energetic, full of fresh forestfruit. A smoky, earthy and mineral undertow lurking below the surface.
Very nice now. Or in the next 5-8 years.

Côte du Py Morgon Gamay 2019

Structured, mouth-filling, and quite sweet fruited. Prefer the Eponym at this stage, but just ever so slightly. — 11 days ago

Aux Pierres Javernières Morgon Gamay 2020

See previous entry.
Still pretty spot on review.
This bottle may have been opened a bit colder, straight out of the keeper.
Still great red/black fruits and chewy.
Granite in your mouth. A very tactile wine. Announces it’s presence without taking over. Refreshing & bright.
Great stuff.

Beaujolais-Villages Gamay 2020

Bright Ruby color with aromas of fresh red fruits and hints of floral spice. On the palate flavors of cherry, raspberry and currants with notes of pepper spice, good acidity and balance. Medium finish, soft tannins, ending with a juicy fruit and floral character. Nice value, easy drinking. Drink now no aging benefit. — 10 days ago

Les Charmes Morgon Gamay 2018

Bright ruby dress. Nose cherry, crunchy red fruits, pepper, herbal points tending towards evolution fade to mineral accents. Concentration carried by a aging that expresses with balance on 2018, still full of freshness. It pinots perfectly. Racy, gouleyant. Perfect price/pleasure ratio!

Robe rubis vive. Rapport prix/plaisir impec!

Morgon Gamay 2020

Definitely not at its peak yet
You can tell the quality, but too tight to fully enjoy
Fruit is there, the tannin is great, freshness to sell
Lets just try to wait, shall we?

Eponym' Les Charmes Morgon Gamay 2019

Generally consistent with my last notes, but drinking this side by side with the Cote du Py does bring to attention the differences in structure. At this stage, the Les Charmes has a slight edge over the Cote du Py for me due to it’s lacier texture and distinct mineral streak. The Cote du Py looks brutish even against this wine. A fascinating study of Beaujolais terrior. — 11 days ago

Les Garants Fleurie Gamay 2019

Beautiful transparency, but also very ripe with great fruit density. Raspberry and brambley herbs, slight perception of sweetness. Clean as a whistle. Great, though no need to wait- I’d drink now. — 12 days ago
