I had written an entire treatise, D wiped it out?
Delicious Nebbiolo, Vespolina, Croatina, raised in Acacia. A ringer for Volnay( as Lyle said).
Lots of flowers, tar, cherry on the nose. That inimitable N. Italian thang that gets me. A red that’s bricking toward brown.
Big entry and soft luscious, velvet mouthfeel, hint of tannin on the finish, satisfying, not intrusive.
Great stuff!
Thanks Lyle.

85%Sorbara, 10% Sauv blanc, 5% Chardonnay.
N: Vauge almonds, peaches, Apricot.
P: Nice bubbles, lots of peach fuzziness.
Quite refreshing, not too serious.
A nice find from the Veneto.
Sorbara vinified white…..
With time open, the nose gets pleasantly funkified. Damp yeasty. — 10 months ago
A bit dry but still really enjoyed the flavor and finish, and a decent value — 3 months ago
Ripe. Juicy. Aromatic. Definitely way more bubbles than I expected. Cork was funky looking coming out. Definitely popped. Otherwise pretty classical barbera profile. — 8 months ago

2006 Magnum. Nice tobacco and licorice elements and good acidity, but lacking fruit. Finish is on the bitter side. Was expecting more from this one. — 20 days ago
