Dark fruit, earthy but lively and mineral. Great example but lacks the oomph to justify the steep price — 5 months ago
Expressive nose, a bit reduced at first, then on ti ripe cherries, cocoa, liquorice , plums. Ample bodied, son of a dry and hot vintage, acidity that holds the alcohol and hood length and youth for a 2012. Remarkable, unexpected village, Albelda, must be the high land on the way to Clavijo. — 2 months ago
2021 - nice solid wine. Can bring to a dinner — 4 months ago
The 2022 Falanghina Caulino is understated, with honeyed florals, ground ginger and wet stones. It’s soft and round, almost oily in feel, with crisp acidity as ripe orchard fruits soothe the senses. This leans toward the tropical spectrum while remaining nicely balanced by salty mineral tones. $20.00 (Eric Guido, Vinous, July 2023) — 8 months ago
Absolutely a knockout. Last had almost 2 years ago and the time has been good. Decanted 1.5 hours, still fairly primary - would be a delicious one to age more, but so it goes. Aromatically incredible. So deep on the palate with that perfect refreshing note on the finish. Excellent pairing with fennel rubbed roast chicken, mushrooms cooked in the chicken fat, and oven fries with a tarragon aioli. — 3 months ago
A great “table wine”. Fruity, but not sweet. Tasted 22 November 2023 — 4 months ago
Ezio Poggio ‘Archetipo’ Colli Tortonesi “Terre di Libarna” Timorasso 2018: Medium body. Fragrant floral nose. Racy acidity. Lemon. Green apple. Slate. Dry crisp finish. This was my first experience with the almost extinct Piemontese Timorasso grape but definitely not my last! Such a delicious, refreshing and beautiful wine! Please give it a try if you are unfamiliar. Cheers🍷 — 3 years ago

Not my favorite Italian, but wasn’t bad. Slight oaky? — 2 months ago
