Toasty plum and rye with cedar hinting at mascarpone-mint, boasting bright blueberry, dry blackberry and raisin-currant melange; withered hibiscus. Decidedly grape-y on the nose and into a mouthful of red currant, dried cranberries, green tea, pencil, cinnamon bark, savory, plus a salted black plum, and baked cranberry. This one has had oxygen exposure for 7 days, but is still wound up. Hold this one for a ten year minimum in my opinion. It was good yesterday, but better today. It shall not live to see tomorrow. Structure... it’s built like the Empire State Building. And could last as long... very tight. A bargain for a wine this serious.

California Cab comparison with last nights Bordeaux. Lots of vanilla and black cherry on the nose opened to lots of herbal notes. Silky smooth palate after decanting. Would definitely buy again.
