Tasted blind. Dark tawny color, mostly opaque. Eucalyptus nose. Also notes of black fruit, dusty earth, some wood and sweet spice. Well balanced in the mouth, with fruit and structure in harmony. I guess 78 HMV. Great wine! One of the best Cal Cabs I've had.

Perhaps one the most important wine encounter of my life.
Perfect in very way, this wine is gently traveling through time and have a long life ahead.
Precise bright fruit on the nose, "liqueur de cassis", eucalyptus , blonde tobacco of superb elegance, extremely complex nose.
this is a wine that simply puts any 1er Grand CRU Classé on its knees.
The mouthfeel is a torrent of ripe fruit, dark ripe cherries and a stunning tannins structure. The acidity is perfectly integrated and gives this wine a marathon-like final. It just never ends!
