Light ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.

Beautiful nose right out of the bottle, with wild flowers, herbs and light oak.

Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity.

Dry on the palate with raspberries, strawberries, tobacco leaf, herbs, peppercorn and chocolates.

Long finish with round tannins and tangy raspberries.

This 7 year old Barolo is drinking very nicely now. Big, bold and beautiful. Tasty and easy drinking.

Still young, and needs a few years in the bottle to mature properly. Will continue to age nicely in the next 5 to 10 years.

This Single Vineyard Barolo is a good food wine, and good by itself too.

100% Nebbiolo grapes were aged in large oak barrels for 18 months.

14% alcohol by volume.

This is a pretty big and juicy Barolo. Darker and more intense than most it has rich fruit with plenty of plums and spices. There's the classic tar and rose present too but not the body defying intensity. Instead, the intensity is entirely consistent with the concentrated styling of this wine. Decidedly hedonistic right now.
