Stunning nose of butter, minerals, green apple, spice and florals. Salty as well. Just gorgeous. So so expressive. Palate is super. Lemony and fresh with terrific acidity and super pure. Long finish. This is no way a 15 if you served this to me blind. Even needs air. Maybe a 9.5?

Jun 21st, 2021Buttery, nutty and very refined nose. Loads of elegant minerality. Rocks on rocks upon rocks. Very pure and very clean. Palate is rich and opulent with terrific concentration and freshness. Juicy and so pure. Wonderful clean winemaking. Terrific acidity and almost too much minerality but the rich buttery fruit provides a nice contrast. Long winding finish. A baby but delicious today.

Feb 27th, 2019Elegant and very restrained nose. Butter, smell the 15 sunshine, iodine, hazelnut, very mineral. Palate is excellent and one of the best 15’s. Ripe, juicy and wonderfully textured with deep penetrating minerality and staggering purity. Excellent.

Dec 29th, 2018Electric richness. Sick nose. Buttery and rich but with big minerals. Buttery, earthy and super complex. Give this 30 minutes. Palate is rich, deep and complex. Textured and electric at the same time with superb balance and freshness. Incredible length.

May 28th, 2018Been a while. Big, ripe and evocative nose. Buttery, mineral, wet earth. Nuts. Gorgeous. Even white flowers. Very subtle. Very nuanced. Rich, ripe, so deep and complex. Florent is the man. So good. Amazingly deep. Long. Precise yet opulent.

Dense and deliciously fruited. Perfect balance with a lovely kiss of fresh acid. Certainly a case in point that vintagism is silly. Delicious dense fruit. Lovely sweet minerality.
Nose is seashells and freshly churned butter some iodine.
-as this opens its about as great as village meursault can be. A framing hint of tropicality

Steely, with a nose that hints lemon, green grassy notes, and a nutty quality. One sip demands the next. Could drink this all night ( but I'll have to slow down!). Delicious. Thanks, Tom!

Great and classic fragrance -- juicy pear, lemon-soaked Burgundian earth, hazelnut. Very linear and persistent. Excellent balance. The earth, minerals, and nuttiness are very present in the front half of the palate. Beautiful acids make the lingering finish lip-smacking. Really nicely done. Premier Cru quality.
