Short review - 2018 vintage DEAD ON PERFECT. This is in the top three wines of the year for me... it doesn’t have to be a impressive Napa Valley or Bordeaux Cabernet to win this distinction from me. So nice to have a imported wine with no noticeable Brett. This still gives deep earthy and black cherry CF flavors as well as a medium body and enough tannins to call for service at the table. Bravo. Great blend of 3 grapes . Captures the middle Loire red blend style to a T.

The Loire Valley has come to be a place to go for real solid Sauvignon Blanc. Touraine is a place near Sancerre which has some of the best Sauvignon Blanc in the Loire and Touraine is showing its moxie. I picked up the 2018 Domaine des Corbilliéres Touraine Sauvignon Blanc.
On the nose is very expressive fruit, lots of peach, lime, grapefruit, nectarine, white flowers, vanilla, pie crust, minerality and wet rocks.
The palate has notes of lime, peach, nectarine, grapefruit, minerality and wet river rock.
This wine is medium bodied with medium + acidity that follows with a long fresh crisp finish. The weekend is upon us, so please be safe. Nostrovia! 🥂🥂🥂🥂

Was forgotten in the back of the cellar. Had very low expectations but showed quite well. Evolved, but still tasty.

Light hay color, medium body, crisp on the nose with a bit of gooseberry, but more mellow and mineraly in taste. Grapefruit with medium acidity with a longer finish than I expected . Really enjoyed
