More fruit than the Les Gravains. Folks rated this as the top wine of the TG. Well since i had a bunch of top shelf Burghs when young. This just barely meets what i am looking for - no formal notes besides this comment.

Lovely floral accent to the plump red fruit aromas. Mouthfilling, spicy red fruit on the palate. Floral notes come through again on the back end. Good stuff.

Dark rubi robe, nose of spices, crushed roses and dark cherries. Medium bodied, very fresh, balanced and complex but also bold structure, this is a joy of a wine done in the classical way. An enfant now but getting closer to drinking window. Give it 3 more years in bottle. It will sing. Enthusiastically recommended.

Lithe, nimble & elegant. Grippy tannins in front of the acid now. The fruit is beautifully fresh and layered. Aromatically, this keeps opening ethereal layers as it breathes. Good stuff on a Tuesday night.

Needed few hours time to open in decanter. Payoff was serious meaty gamey umami earthy fruit. Delicious!

Way young. Sipped at opening: tight, but warm and nice and hot. Decant: 6 hours: plums, nice and soft on palate. 8 hours: ooh, better. 1 day: a joy, super long finish, lovely. Guzzled (no day 2 report). Hiding other bottles for a decade or so..
