Medium Ruby with aromas of red fruit, cacao and sweet herb spices. On the palate flavors of raspberry and black cherry with oak, pepper, floral herbs and cacao. Fine firm tannins, medium finish, ending with oak, fruit and spicy herb character, 14.8 ABV, a bit of heat. Drink now!

First time trying this. We are closet fans of BG, but this falls short. Nice nose of cherry jam, gives way to a barnyard note on the palate. The texture is moderate, as is the sweetness. But overall, this is one-dimensional, which lacks complexity. We’ll let it breathe to see if it comes out to play...
