The 2019 Barolo is a terrific entry-level offering. Sweet pipe tobacco, cedar, menthol, licorice and spice open in the bouquet. The 2019 is quite expressive aromatically, which makes it tempting to drink, although it is quite potent on the palate. The 2019 is a fine choice for consuming over the next decade or so, but I would give it a healthy decant first. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, January 2024)

Popped and poured; no formal notes. Please refer to @Antonio Galloni note for this wine from February in 2018. We’re now in 2022 and he absolutely nails it 💯. I’ve had this bottle in my cellar since release and it’s aging at a glacial pace. I literally have nothing to add. Bravo!

The 2017 Barolo is a terrific choice for drinking now and over the next decade or so. In 2017, Brovia's straight Barolo is quite floral and lifted in feel. Crushed flowers, mint, spice, blood orange and sweet berry fruit are laced throughout. As a reminder, the Brovia Barolo is a blend of all four sites the family bottles as vineyard designates, with an emphasis on the Brea cru. This mid-weight Barolo is all charm. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, October 2021)

With 2+ hours of decanting it is starting to show its elegance. Happy to embrace that but it’s sure a long wait.

This bottle a little on the warm side. Maybe a bit tanned during storage at some point

Enjoyable now. A little lean but pairs great with food. Would love to try in 3 or 3 years. SS
