Hopefully it's in an awkward phase or an off btl. I love this cuvée year in, year out, usually more than the Cote du Py, but... Usually vibrant, flourescent purple/fuchsia, but this bottle was a cloudy, murky, dark red. The nose and fruit were also lacking--no depth, no concentration, no focus. Really dissappointing. I'll try another soon. — 11 years ago
A red #cuvée from Stuttgart's Monk Berthold incl. #lemberger, #spätburgunder and #cabernet. Nice dark color, plum and cherry notes with a hint of wood. Not too dry, and a bit fruity - just the way the locals like it. — 9 years ago

Bottled in magnum for a British retailer. Lemon zest and toast in the nose. Red apples (in Chile I'd say Fuji apples) and delicate, textured bubbles. Pinot Noir and Meunier based blend. If a magnum supposedly allows slow development and savoury flavours them this bottle is at an early stage. Only 12% alcohol. #champagne #oudinot #cuvée #magnum #marksandspencer — 8 years ago
