Founder Nicky Hahn, grew up speaking German. In his native language, the word ‘Hahn’ means rooster, which is why a depiction of this bird has always graced the label of his wines. Aromas of dark berry fruits with sweet dried spice notes. On the palate cherry and blueberry with oaky notes, cacao and sweet spice. Fine grippy tannins, savory, lingering ending with fruit and mineral tones. Nice value! — 7 years ago
The 2011 ‘Dark Blossom’ by Sin Que Non is a stunning aged wine that is showing marvelously at nearly ten years of age. On the nose this translucent colored Grenache reveals bright red berry and citrus blossom aromas that combine marvelously with the underbrush and earthy undertones. On the palate this shows off its silky mouthfeel with red cherry candy, guava, and shades of nectarine rind with wild mushroom that give this an exotic edge. While this is marvelous now, it has a decade left in it. Drink 2019-2029- 94 — 7 years ago

Cherry fruit with licorice, tar, earth, black olive, some leather notes, and a touch of menthol and iron on the finish. A medium to fuller style of Rosso di Montalcino. — 6 years ago
Pronounced nose of Juicy red plums, red cherries, strawberry, raspberry and cranberry, rose hips, dust ... fresh herbs and mint then licorice. Med+ acid, medium body with smooth silky integrated tannins. Medium finish but overall so incredibly weightless yet with so much character... showed even better the second night!
What is so impressive is how refreshing and lifted this is amongst so many darker ready wines from this warm vintage!!! — 6 years ago
Incense, smoky, Christmas spice, wet autumn leaves, soaked cherry compote. Rather airy for an 2006. After two hours, nose is earthy with burdock root in a very pleasant way. Sour cherries on the last splash. Guessed 01/02 due to the sweetness towards the end. One of the best 2006s I've had. — 8 years ago
Elegant, perfumed and very classy Brunello. Notes of tomato confit, dried herbs, and curing spices. Long, savory finish. Went great with homemade Cavatelli and meatballs! — 8 years ago
Enjoyed a lot since this is not buttery. — 6 years ago
Serious Moulin-à-Vent. Tense, firm structure and lingering intensity. Some mild reduction on the nose leads right into raspberries, violets, spice, leather and crushed stones. Mineral-tinged flavors of creme de menth, dark cherries, cocoa and herbs. This is a powerful and elegant bottle that is superb for aging and offering tons of expression right now. Highly recommended if you can find it. — 7 years ago
Tastes like Cab Franc done well, fuller bodied at 14% abv, smoke, pyrazene, cedar, dark cherries, and game. Medium tannins and elevated acidity. — 7 years ago

Simply a very well made Chardonnay. Some tropical fruit, lime zest, oaky. Paired perfectly with asparagus with sauce Hollandaise and veal steak. — 6 years ago
