Virtual tasting with the Wine Nerd Herd...2010 and older BDX...paired with a Lamb Burger and garlic aïoli for the fries. Drank over three hours, ruby garnet in the glass. Has a sparkle to it. Blackberry, fine wood spice, nuances of blackberries and licorice and tangerine. Juicy fine tannins, has another 10 years ripening potential. — 4 years ago
Ah, the Yorkville Highlands... more than just the fabled place where I totaled my car last fall. Those rocky hillsides produce some sensational juice and this wine is no exception. Inky and hedonistic AF, but pulls it off with elegance, tannic structure and enough vibrancy to elevate this wine far beyond guilty pleasure. And besides, what else would you want with a bacon cheese burger & onion rings?
Blueberry coulis and black pepper fade into violets and warm spice on the finish. Definitely opened this bottle too early but have no regrets. I look forward to seeing how bottle #2 evolves over the next few years. All hail, Theodora, Queen of Petite Sirah!

Beautiful ruby color. Macerated blackberries, pomegranate, blood orange, high-tones of violets and roses. Nice nervy texture that imbues raspberries. Epic wine that paired beautifully with my juicy burger topped with bacon jam and fresh aioli! — 4 years ago
Enjoying every last drop of wine tasting bottle 7: Valdez Family Winery St. Peter’s Church Vineyard Alexander Valley Zinfandel 2014. Intense flavors & aromas. Bold dark fruits. Perfect structure & balance. A great representation of the grape varietal & local terroir. Great weekend to all! Cheers🍷 — 4 years ago
Picked this baby up on our arrival to Sonoma in March 2017. “Honey! Stop! They’re OPEN!” We were delayed getting there, so I was thrilled to see something open. 😊 Back to the wine, dark berries and black pepper went well with a local burger. — 4 years ago

I've always been a lager guy, but I'm so glad I tried this Millstream Stout.
5% oatmeal ( yeah, who thought of that?), adds to the heavy taste of this brew. Roasted black malt provides the color. Taste of strong coffee and yet, very smooth. No bitterness what so ever!
Paired this with a cheese burger for lunch, but this brew cries out for steak. — 4 years ago
