Bakers chocolate, cardamom, herbs de Provence, roses, suede, tobacco, coffe and black cherry. Red tart and black cherry power palate with brooding chocolate, rich raspberry and cherry reductions, crispy sage, light graphite, and finally tight plum and blackberry. .

I enjoyed this one more than the previous Italian. Good fruit went well with the pork dish my wife prepared and I would definitely like to try again in s few years. Good stuff.

2009 Castello di Bolgheri Super Tuscan. Blend of Cab Sauv, Cab Franc & Merlot. The estate borders Sassicaia. As good but more budget friendly around $60 retail. Dark cherry and black currants waft from the glass while anise, cedar and mineral notes bring up the rear. Fleshy and firm. Bolgheri Superiore DOC 2010, 14.5%. Blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. A bit young, earthy notes at the nose, but with good acidity a soft tannins.

V15. Deep purple hue. Olive nose. Rich, bright cherry fruit. Smooth, dry, tight , mocha and leather finish. Very good.
