The many types of oak create a lot of classic cab and Shiraz notes that evolve in the glass--black currant, graphite, clay, black pepper, cocoa, dill, vanilla. Plush blackberry jam on the palette. Super soft tannins typical of South Australia reds that barely need time to breathe. — 7 months ago

Lot more concentrated than 2018. Probably missing a bit of balance at this stage. But great and well crafted wine — 3 months ago
Not as good as some others but still nice — 2 years ago
If this wine was a turtle, it would be a good turtle — 3 years ago
This is the best TX Hill Country vineyard available wine I have had. Quote from their back label "The fruit for their 2015 basket press Shiraz was all sourced from the Stonewell region of the Western Barrosa in Australia. 16 parcels were individually selected in the vineyard & small batch fermented. Each ferment was hand plunged thrice daily, in the traditional French method before being rested on skins for a total of 25 days. Hand plunging and extended skin contact can only be followed by using a basket press to extract every precious drop of wine without a compromise in quality. The final blend spent a total of 27 months maturing in new and seasoned French oak barrels. A delicious traditional Barossa Shiraz, that while drinking excellently now, will reward 5 to 10 years careful cellaring." — 4 years ago
3.5. What a spicy, smooth Australian Shiraz. On sale for $16.79. — 7 months ago
I’m not across the different sub districts of the Barossa to be fully aware of the different micro climates but this Yalumba wine from the Northern Barossa was sufficiently different with aromas of liquorice blue fruits and tar. Spice black pepper and Soft tannins. Mouthfilling and delicious. — 2 years ago
