Had several bottles of this wine in the past 5 years. And this one is easily the best.
Gorgeously rich and pure on the nose: black cherries, blueberry pancakes and blackberry preserve.
This all echoes on the palate and some well dosed pinches of caramel, cocoa, coffee and toast take this wine to another level. Just enough acidity to give it some fraicheur, soft and ripe tannines backing up the long and incessant finish.
Totally beautiful. — 2 months ago
On the edge but still very drinkable. — 4 months ago
The Antinori family, one of the world's oldest and most distinguished wine producers, lived in Tuscany since the 14th century. Blend of 80% Sangiovese, 15% Cab Sauv & 5% Cab Franc, less maceration than prior vintages. Deep Ruby, aromas of black berry fruit aromas with herb, mint and sweet spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry and cherry with cacao, vanilla and tobacco spice. Fine tannins, long finish, well balanced, ending with oak, juicy fruit and earthy mineral tones. Black cherry, currant, tobacco, leather all mixed together with a hint of nutmeg. Paired very well with a flavorful lamb and basmati dish. — 2 months ago
I am a fan of the World’s End family of wines and I enjoyed this one. A little chewy and dense but nice flavors. — 3 months ago
Smooth and drinkable now. Give it a little time to open up. — 5 months ago

One of our new favorite Pinot Noir wines. Full bodied for a Pinot Noir fruity with dark berry notes and a smooth and spicy finish. Great with food and drinking alone — 21 days ago
