Second take on this one because I really enjoyed it the first time and we even went back to buy a couple of bottles to bring back home. Previous notes stand and we had it with food this time around and it works super well with white meat cooked on the grill and light summer veggie and salad dishes. Last evening in the Polish mountains. We will come back. — a year ago
My good friend Kate & Matthew gifted me this Polish sparkling wine while visiting Poland 🇵🇱. Kate believes I inspired her to pursue wine industry; she has become a Level-3 sommelier and is very successful. Thank you 🙏!!! — a year ago
Tasted at pine. Very unique chardonnay. — 3 years ago
I love trying Pinot Noirs from Alsace. Talk about a quest for the Holy Grail. Nose is a bit muted, but shows tangy red berry fruit, mulled spices, vanilla, and warm, moist gravelly scents. In the mouth it’s concentrated but not heavy, with very clingy flavors ranging from dark cherry to savory and pleasantly-roasted root vegetable notes. Tangy acids. Very subtle and unique, and it goes well with the artichoke/bacon quiche tonight. — 4 years ago
Very good Polish white. An apple, a pear, peach, citrus. — 5 years ago
This is the second time that I try this polish orange wine. In summary: I like it. The nose shows orange, orange peel, peach, along with a salty, umami thing that lingers in the background. The palate shows great acid drive, orange peel notes, salty notes all along, some tannic grip in the rear, before a finish that goes on for a while with some orange and salty caramel notes.

Winnica Silesian, Patataj 2020, pet nat (weisser and roter riesling).
Orange wine made in a pet nat style. Hipster wine from Poland... which I actually quite like ! Some bready, yeasty notes on the nose (brioche) along with apricot, peche, honey, there is also a tiny almost meaty, umami, salty touch too. The palate shows little fuzziness (the wine is 5 year-old), nice apricot, peachy honey notes, good width and a stong acid drive. There is also that salty, meaty touch that adds a bit of complexity. The finish is fresh and fruity, with also that salty note that carries on. It's really well made and super delicious. I would have loved a stronger fizziness. — a year ago

Delicious naturally sweet wine from late harvest! Good colour with hints of amber. Aromas of Polish pears with delicate notes of honey and raisins. Full-bodied and balanced. — 5 years ago

Very pale colour for a late harvest, shy nose, with fresh apricot, ripe lime, a touch of candied citrus peel, fresh and subtle.
More pronounced on the palate, quite sweet but balanced with vibrant acidity.
Lemon & lime with a touch of candied ginger and a bit of mint towards the finish?
Crisp & vibrant and surprisingly nice. — 2 months ago
