A lovely, dry white. Reminds me of the Sonoma sav blancs that we loved on our trip. From wine and cheese gallery. — 7 years ago

Whenever we drink this, we remember a lovely picnic at the winery with @Joe Lucca and his wife Diana. Chappellet’s wines are as impressive as the winery. This is a more restrained, subtle Napa cab, tilting more towards a French Bdx, as opposed to the more common Napa exuberance. The nose of soft oak and coffee notes displays elegance. The palate is pure and clean. With no signs of aging, delicate notes of black cherries and truffles are packaged with polished tannins and neutral oak. Drinking this was like standing in an art gallery while admiring a lovely piece of art - a wonderful experience. — 8 years ago

Very surprising for only $35. Took about 30 min to open up and another 30 let out the flavors. Ruby red, sweet oak, bing cherry, cassis, vanilla, light body with similarities to Rutherford style. I could see this showing well for another 5 years and hello to the high alcohol %!
Jamieson Ranch Vineyards is the southernmost winery in the Napa Valley, one of the world’s foremost winemaking regions. The estate’s more than 300 acres of gently rolling hills and terraced vineyards benefit from the cooling fog and breezes from the nearby San Pablo Bay, climatic conditions that favor the production of exceptional Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
The unique architecture of Jamieson Ranch Vineyards is reminiscent of a majestic western mountain lodge, replete with soaring ceilings, seating around a cozy fireplace, an observation gallery overlooking the barrel room and production area, and a spectacular wraparound veranda that affords sweeping views of the Napa Valley and San Pablo Bay. — 9 years ago

Deep red forest fruits, silky smooth tannins and hints of creamy chocolate, dried rosemary, rich, luscious, drinking beautifully after 14 yrs of ageing. 100% Mavrud, a Bulgarian native grape linked to Mourvèdre. #bulgarian #bandol ! — 9 years ago

Light golden in color.
Strong nose of citrus, oak, vanilla, spices, yellow apples, butterscotch, melons and black pepper.
Full bodied and buttery with medium plus acidity.
Dry on the palate with lemons, limes, apples, grapefruits, bitter herbs, spices, wood, vanilla, light vegetables and peppercorn.
Long spicy finish with tangy lemon pepper.
This is a very tasty white blend from Napa Valley. Spicy and tangy, and a good quality wine. I really enjoyed the complexity, especially on the nose.
Right out of the bottle, it is very overwhelming, but give it 30 minutes of decanting, and it comes together with nice complexity and mouthfeel. As it opens, the oak really subsided, although it's definitely oaky.
This 3 year old is drinking nicely now and will be good in the next few years. Would be interesting to see how it evolves.
Good by itself or with food. I paired it with a Spanish Manchego cheese, and had it by the pool.
14.4% alcohol by volume.
90 points.

I found this to be a solid Chianti… a classic Classico.
Tart or maybe sour apple / cherry. Firm tannins. A touch of salt.
At worst, a touch unremarkable. But overall, enjoyable. Interesting lower scores from the gallery.
Makes me question myself…. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ — 2 years ago
