Light, transparent ruby. No shortage of funk on the nose - lots of manure, mushrooms, and dried herb with little to no fruit. Medium, but gritty, tannins and less acid than I was expecting. In the mouth the earthiness continues with dark, stewed fruit - lots of plums. This smells better than it taste, but was different and enjoyable for pizza night. — 6 years ago
Subtle and easy to drink. Light, fruity, a little tartness. No tannins. We should have chilled it a little more. — 4 months ago

I haven’t had an Italian Pinot Nero in literally decades. This is actually quite good and seems to reflect mountain-grown Pinot nicely. Light color. Nose is fragrant with bright, ripe cherry and crushed, bright mountain stone. A wee bit of spice. In the mouth it’s flavorful and transparent, with bouncy cherry fruit and crushed rock at the fore. Nice acids and a teensy bit of tannin to scaffold the package. — 2 years ago
Clean. Basic Riesling nose.
Off dry. Solid acidity.

This is a dynamite Italian Pinot Grigio from the Alto-Adige, white flowers, some mineral notes as well, great acidity, and lovely depth and complexity!! — 2 months ago
