Top Notes For

I haven’t had an Italian Pinot Nero in literally decades. This is actually quite good and seems to reflect mountain-grown Pinot nicely. Light color. Nose is fragrant with bright, ripe cherry and crushed, bright mountain stone. A wee bit of spice. In the mouth it’s flavorful and transparent, with bouncy cherry fruit and crushed rock at the fore. Nice acids and a teensy bit of tannin to scaffold the package.
