Much more expressive than the 2018, with crunchy underripe apricot, green mango, lime & lemon zest, a touch of green grapefruit. On the palate this is precise & pure with a core of juicy, electric acidity and spicy, slightly salty minerality. Great depth & loads of character. Lovely aromatics with ripe red apples, Mirabelle plums, fresh apricots & white peaches. There’s a healthy pinch of white pepper & nutmeg, too. Quite broad & rich.
On the palate this shows amazing depth & restraint, cool purity and great balance. This has power yet seems weightless. This is just brilliant and a perfect fit with homemade Tafelspitz.
