At Sama Sama in Santa Barbara. Excellent really! 50/50 blend in 2024 of Grüner and Riesling. Graham did a great job with this one. Galloni seems to consistently like this one as well. Floral and tropical. Just awesome with asian food. An artist at work. Herbaceous undertow, faint touch of pineapple, apple, 🍏, some lemon, tangerine oil. — 6 months ago

Loved! Effervescent, peppery, cherry — 5 years ago
Light hay colored with little tinges of silver. On the nose you’ll get Granny Smith apples, pears, a little kiwi, and minerality. This is one of the best combinations of fun and elegance that I’ve found in a Grüner Veltliner. This 18 is so very young and it shows but it’s still mature enough to go. Very creamy on the mid palate with some round acidity. Air definitely improves things and on the second day it’s downright lush. Very dry, the round acid and texture really takes her to the next level. Honeydew, white pepper, and honey on the palate initially, with grapefruit and smoke coming to play. — 6 years ago
Lime and rocks on the nose. Battery acid and citrus zest on the palate. A bit unforgiving now... will revisit in a few years. — 6 years ago
Slightly more tension and mid-palate. Serviceable. — 4 months ago
My favorite Austrian producer for Riesling. Acid, acid and more acid. Very steely, crisp, wet rock, apricot, bone dry. — 6 months ago
Semillon from the interior of South Africa from Eben Sadie, one of the best whites from SA that I have ever had. Tons of acidity and freshness, lots of density but light on its feet. Pretty tightly wound, try this in a few years…3-5 from vintage date should be ideal. — 5 years ago
Explosive citrus flavors. — 6 years ago
Purpur in der Farbe / dicht / mittlere Viskosität/ Nase fruchtig, herbal. Beim schwenken Aromen von Marzipan, Hagebutte, Colakraut. Am Gaumen rassige Säure, mittlere Tannine, Alkohol moderat bei 13,5 Prozent. Langlebig. Im Nachhall warm, Aromen wiederholen sich. Erinnert sehr stark an einen Garnache aus Navarra. — 6 years ago
Smell has a touch of lime, petroleum and mothballs, it stays in the taste that had a nice acidity, wine from old vines, complex, nice and interesting, very good for this price. — 6 years ago
Superb interpretation of a Gewurztraminer.
Loud while elegant on the nose with a slightly bitter, sweet and acidic mouth feel. — 4 months ago
In a perfect drinking window. Mature dry Riesling that is fully resolved. — 2 years ago
Outstanding - tastes like NSG/Gevrey blend. Quite dark. Dark fruit with a touch of cherry and a raspberry aftertaste. Cloves. Plenty of minerals. Very well managed tannins. This would be 80-100$ if it would be a Burgh. Bought only 2 bottles to sample the wine but will buy this in the future. Very Burgundian. If you want to pay less but still have the Burgh experience this is it. Lyle an of this left? — 5 years ago
