Dark ruby with near black core. Abundant nose of cassis and black plum. Medium full palate yields black plum, tarry black cherry, and a hint of graphite. Fine (medium) tannins and juicy medium plus acidity. A nice step up from the "everyday" Bordeaux from the Comptes von Neipperg portfolio.
