Filigrane & floral on the nose, with shy white peach, a bit of dried apricot, lemon thyme, a hint of creamy naphtha slowly developing, which lifts with time and is replaced by spicy, flinty, stony minerality.
On the palate this starts quite light but quickly the amazing purity comes to shine. Amazing depth & power yet with such precision. Bone dry & mineral to the core and, at the same time, so juicy, so pure, so drinkable. And a finish that just goes on forever. Stunning!
A profound, grand Riesling from of my most favorite vineyards. — 21 days ago
From Calvert Woolsey $30 for 2019 on 7/17/2022. Cammomille, flowers. Exactly what Riesling should be. — 5 months ago
Nice Gruner. Good amount of acidity. Hint of sweetness on the nose. Good wine for the price. — a month ago
Exzellent Summer wine — 3 months ago
Great as always. It's definitely my go to sparkling rosé when I want some (and I rarely do). Wild strawberries, red currant, cream, cherry, toast. Well balanced, good acidity, wonderful mousse with ripe red currant flavours.

First Grüner with some age and it was fantastic. Thx Bryan Hollon for the great. — a month ago
Lemon zest, lime, a petroly note too, it's quite a typical, vivid riesling nose. The palate is long wide, multidimensional, almost creamy. A bright lemon note shines through all along the acid backbone powering a very long finish with lemon, lemon zest and even lemon curd notes that last for ever. This is a great effort! — 3 months ago
If every supermarket had this on shelf for 9€, the world would be a happy place ;)
Floral with green apples, underripe apricots, white pepper. Very GrüVe.
On the palate racy, juicy, zingy, fresh.
Light yet with enough substance plus good purity and a peppery, salty twist towards the finish. Plus for the brilliant vintage.
