A bit fuller and rounder following the vouette. But also delicious. Purity of the fruit comes through. — 8 years ago
Love this stuff... chalky, rough, great acid, yeasty. — 10 years ago
Nearly orange in color (apparently from skin maceration); metallic minerality with a step change. Oxidative. Septime with Kristen ❤️ — 9 years ago
A of red fruit and chalky. Full bodied with earthy undertones. Quite an acquired taste., I am not a fan. — 9 months ago
Now we are getting into the serious cuvees at Robin and this is a doozy. What a nose. Insane lime. It’s so so vivid. Green apple skin. Superb minerality and expansiveness. Gorgeous clarity. Really firing on all cylinders. Much more of what I look for. Cheap champagne can be good but I prefer mid range and high end for drinking and selling. Candied but in a super rocky way. The most clear minerality you can imagine. 9.5 nose. What a palate. It’s crazy. I never had anything like it. It’s got a crazy attack and then this elite finesse than low tide waves crashing for 45 seconds finish with superb finesse. It’s crazy wow. Great mouthfeel and wowza acids and freshness. Concentrated but not too much and never heavy. So floats on the palate but has serious structure. Hits you in the molars and stays there. This wine changes like crazy in 10-15 minutes. It’s a total think piece champagne and it’s so unique. Super geeked and super delicious. Bravo. The Sorbee, indeed, does have a secret. Textured and so juicy with such a great three acts. — 6 years ago

Un tres tres grand champagne — 10 years ago
