Le Cigare Volant 40th Anniversary Release Grenache Blend

Easy like Sunday morning. Could drink this all night. Spicy fruit, great, long- lasting finish, light but so flavorful. Haven’t had this in quite some time. — 16 days ago

Le Cigare Volant Grenache Blend 2012

Lots of cherry and strawberry cola shining through on the nose. Hits you lot a ton of “Brix”😂. Lots of great acid holding on, cherry flavors abound. 13.5% — 3 years ago

Fresh, herby, with shy red fruit, dried herbs, garrigue, green pepper.
Very nice structure, a touch of tannin, juicy acidity, savoury, herby, fresh, lively.
This has nice energy to it.

Le Cigare Blanc 2018

The 2018 Le Cigare Blanc was made from 54% Grenache Blanc grapes and 46% Vermentino from the Central Coast vineyards Cedar Lane, Paragon and Beeswax. I'll admit, I miss the Roussanne, which was jettisoned in favor of another grape. Fortunately, I love Vermentino, too, and it delivers enough salinity to be a worthy replacement. The nose threw me, because of its strong fruit’n’floral aromas. After a few minutes, the salinity came through and even more savory notes appeared on the nose. However, as with Le Cigare Volant, the Blanc is probably much more approachable in its new form. It doesn't mean I like it better. — 6 years ago

Domaine Galuval

Le Coq Volant Côtes du Rhône Villages Red Rhône Blend

Elegant and very appealing Côtes-du-Rhône Villages red, made from 60% Grenache Noir and 40% Syrah. Wild strawberry, raspberry, black cherry, hints of cedar, lavender, wild thyme, blackberry, baking spice and more. Surprisingly soft on the palate with great finesse - drinks more like a Cru Village like Rasteau or Cairanne. Long, silky finish — a year ago
