Cherry cola flavor. Peppery nose. Maybe some blackberry. More intense than just grenache. — 7 years ago
Interesting red blend made of 40% Petit Verdot, 31% Syrah, 13% Mourvedre, 8% Malbec, 8% Merlot. Flush with raspberry, cherry, and blackberry and dark chocolate aromas with background layers of caramel, cedar, orange peel, and baking spices. Together, reminds me of Black Forest cake. — 8 years ago
A puzzle that demands you solve it... and you want to with its depth and dark, haunting disposition. This bottle is a reflection of love, of California's caress of wine life, growth-- texture and tannin with fearless fruit delivery. Plan around this offering, a dish with climates of flavor and charisma that match this Bordeaux vixen. — 9 years ago
Oh, Lalou, you vixen, you temptrix! — 10 years ago
Awesome red. Smokey and super smooth. Blend of cab. Malbec and carminiere. — 11 years ago
Quite surprised by how good this is. Not sure about eggs vixen as a concept for marketing these days, but anyway onto the wine.
Lovely nose. Really heady. And smooth as can be. I like it a lot. — 7 years ago
Dried violets blue plums moody...moods. Agianico is a dark haired vixen who winks at you then ever so lightly punches your arm, laughing. Dark wine sarcastic soul. Balsamic vinegar and prunes. Tannic thunder kept in check. By ripe and dried fruits sturdy and whimsically profound. — 8 years ago

Dark haired arms. My bad. On spelling & misread your review
A fun, juicy Southern Rhône expression from Central Coast, CA. Nice layers of dark fruits and red fruits on the nose with hints of tobacco and spice. On the palate a suave, easy-drinking selection that is sure to keep the table of guests pleased. — 9 years ago

So many fruit flavours. — 10 years ago

Refreshing sparkling red. Nicer than a lot of other types of fizz — 5 years ago

Tar. Roses. The classics speak. This is SO along its way. The fruit is a forward vixen (it was a ripe year)?but you’ll be okay with it. And the acid is high enough, the green earth underneath enough that I know that the earth ballasts the fruit and tannins. At its heart blackberries, black cherries and tannins that are in your family. Get the f in. — 8 years ago

I had the 2014. I loved it! It has a easy dryness to it. The fruit is present on the palate and the nose...more berry fruit.
It is a light Syrah and is very easy to drink. — 10 years ago
A garnet-hued, frothy vixen of a wine, the Aphros Sparkling Vinhão Super-Reserva delights with ultra-earthy, pungent funk, and juicy black plum notes forming a concise bridge between nose and palate. Bright acidity cuts through layers of pruney deliciousness, the finish is brisk and short very much about black tea tannin and dried herbs. At 12.0% ABV it goes down very easily. I expect this pair well with charcuterie, unlike Lambrusco, it's bone dry. — 10 years ago

This saucy little vixen expresses it as expected for a Rioja. — 3 years ago
