Open in the bottle for 30 minutes. Dark purple color. Nose contains oak, vanilla, and subtle spice. Wine reminds me of those we had in Mallorca but with a better, velvety texture. Paired perfectly with the Chateaubriand! Was so great we made a reservation for Thursday night! Medium finish. Great QPR and local recommendation by the restaurant staff! This tastes more like a Left Bank Bordeaux than a straight Cab. It is thoroughly enjoyable with buoyant fruit, lively acids and rich oak.
