Italian wine tasting with friends! These were my 3 wine selections from north to south:
🔹 Northern Italy: Tenuta Carretta ‘Bric Paradiso’ Roero Riserva 2015 (Piemonte - Nebbiolo)
🔹 Central Italy: Tiezzi Enzo ‘Poggio Cerrino’ Rosso Di Montalcino 2015 (Toscana - Sangiovese)
🔹 Southern Italy: Mazzei ‘Zisola’ Sicilia Noto Rosso 2014 (Sicilia - Nero D’Avola)
All of the were superb. All are highly recommendable. Cheers 🇮🇹🍷 — 3 years ago
Leathery, bright, beautiful on the nose and finish. Enjoying this one! — 4 years ago
Very very dry. It’s a bit light. Maybe a little too sour. — 3 years ago
Medium body red, moderate legs, earthy red fruit, herbaceous mid notes with a citrusy finish. This is easy to sip on Julie’s front porch. — 3 years ago

Love this rose. Goes with everything and tonight a dinner salad with protein, romaine, tomatoes, casa Fresca, corn and black beans. Tomorrow with fish. — 3 years ago
Tenuta Il Falchetto Bricco Paradiso Barbera d’Asti Superiore DOCG 2019: Medium-bodied. High acidity. Approachable tannins. Dark fruits. Spice. Oak. Flavorful long finish. Had this wine a few weeks ago at the Slow Wine SF event and I am still talking about it today: The color! The taste! The nose! Such an exceptional wine. Hands down my new favorite Barbera! Great weekend to all! Cheers🍷 — 3 years ago
This is a good, crisp, zesty little bottle of citrus and green apple. It’s mouth wateringly acidic, but not overbearing in its punch. I just wrote this and then looked at the winery’s own tasting notes and I think my future self wrote their description. — 4 years ago
