had this years ago and i feel like they've made some great strides: Monastrell from Yecla can be flabby fruit bombs, but this is a legit wine, great old vine material, had some of the secondary aromas & flavors from southern France, some of that feral quality, some iodine, white pepper along with copious amounts of black & red fruit. polished & poised, smooth thru nice finish — 4 months ago
Still showing well. Great with the ribs — 10 months ago
Cherries, raspberries and a hint of minty chocolate, high alcohol packed in minirality. Very pleasant — 23 days ago
Mucho mejor de lo esperado, buen balance de fruta seca y madera, vainilla. — 9 months ago
Pear and citrus. Viura 100%. Sees a tiny bit of oak. Neutral palate; only citrus. High acid. Will age for 50+ yrs. Ultra fresh. — 2 years ago
Served with Paceta de cerdo com mojo rojo — a month ago
I have always been a fan of the wines from this domain. Now at age 15/16 this wine stands firm! Everything comes together with a nose of red fruit, licorice, leathersoap. The mouthfeeling is silky, cherries you know these big black ones, subtle acidity making you want to drink more but no need as the finish takes you over the minute. Fantastic wine! — 6 months ago

First time trying this with some age, and while it is not much evolved, it moves towards a Pinot-like elegance, especially on day 2 — a day ago
