expresses the varietal typicity with a fresh and very fruity wine. traditional and careful viticulture processes are used. The winemaker, Almudena Alberca MW, is a friend of mine and while she is typically in Ribera del Duero heading up the Viña Mayor wines, with this #Mencia from #Valdeorras she shows that she clearly has the chops for other varieties and regions and can respect the essence of those areas and grapes.
