Branco Vulcânico I. G. AÇORES Arinto Verdelho 2018

Mostly Arinto. Bright and crisp up front with a weightier mid-palate of ripe citrus and stone fruit. The minerality really comes through on the long finish. Bit pricey. — 12 days ago

Caloroso Paso Robles Corvina Blend

Delicate and soft on the front end with a nice bitter finish. Reminiscent of amaro. Loved the color and the over all experience of this one. Would absolutely drink with a pizza or burger. — 6 days ago

The Field Blend White Jonkershoek Valley Roussanne Blend 2017

Picked some winners to take home this weekend! Another fantastically good white, full of complexity and citrusy goodness - this time coming from South Africa. Great glass to sip slowly and enjoy as it has a nice chard meets Chablis meets a viognier...closing down with a crisp finish. This is a great blend and also looking forward to taking more of this home! — 3 days ago

Rubrica Vinho Regional Alentejano White Blend 2017

Was on a Portugal wine kick for a while. I guess I accidentally bought a white instead of red. Opened it to cook scallops. Poured a glass and enjoyed. Very light and refreshing. Nice wine. — 22 days ago

Vinho Espumante De Qualidade Branco Bruto 2016

Pale gold. Toasty slight burnt - in a good way - Brioche, Creme Brûlée, lemon curd, just ripe yellow apples, pineapple, ~banana, creamy delicate on the palate. Medium+ intensity and finish. Rich opulent vintage Champagne quality at $20 as an IGP Alentejo. Method Traditional. Antao Vaz, Arinto, Verdelho. 12%. Crushed oyster shells on the finish. — 20 days ago
