Deep purple fruit with notes of pepper and vegetal undertones. — 7 months ago
As usual off the charts cool. Opened up over the course of a couple hours. Expressive nose of fresh cut red flowers, raspberries, black pepper, undergrowth, dried herbs, some vegetal hints. Fantastic concentration and elegance with fine tannins and beautiful acidity that ends in a medium+ finish. — 2 years ago
Textbook #loirevalley #cabernetfranc, this one from #touraine ; It was late in the evening after happy hour so notes are a bit more approximate than usual. 😜 Pyrazines active, green pepper notes, shy black/purple fruit, soft tannins and a vegetal earthiness on the palate. It could have been served cooler by the bar but nice night cap nonetheless. — 2 months ago
Another complex white. Layers of dried fruit and notes of vegetal. — 8 months ago
Beautiful, explosive nose of pine needles, eucalyptus, cherries, forest floor and musk thus is a special wine. The pairing I don’t think was perfect, paired with spicy roast pork shoulder, but the wine was medium bodied, rose red with hints of purple. The palate is fresh, floral and light, but with vegetal and forest-y notes, with hints of soy glaze, plum, and grass notes on the finish. — 6 months ago
Super bright and refreshing. Nose of black cherry, yeast, iron, vegetal. On the palate, cherry, white pepper, green bell pepper, mineral. Very nice cab franc! — 3 years ago

I guess I’m drinking this too soon! Need to better manage the cellar… tremendous fruit on the nose as I decanted that became more vegetal with time. Bright and leathery on the tongue, rich and luscious in the mouth. Strong tannins — easy to see how others are enjoying it at twice the age. — a month ago
