The "un" misleads to thinking its unoaked, but it is very much oaked.
Lemon meringue and bread yeast finish. Good lively acidity still, not an opulent and rich chardonnay. — a month ago

Indeed excellent qpr. If you buy a case then each bottle is wrapped in straw and has it's own booklet. On the back of the booklet you can see the bottle nr xxxx/1911 and the degorgement date. This at least gives a hint of the period. It is a blend of multiple years so if they have a rich harvest maybe they save some for blending purposes with future vintages? They make other cuvee's as well so they blend excess wine with those also

94-96. Potente e bilanciato. Molto legno a naso al momento che compre un po’ le ceste di frutta matura che vengono fuori da questo vino. Veramente notevole la maturità del frutto. Forse anche grazie ad appena il 26% di Merlot. Ma i Cabernet sono intensi e maturi. Lungo ed equilibrato sul finale. — 2 months ago

Nez assez réservé puis fraise écrasée épicé j’en ai pas eu l’orange sanguine ou de la rose comme certains grand pinot noir mais superbe nez
Bouche ample mais fraîche et précise, manquant peut être d un peu de longueur pour m emporter complètement mais très beaux tanins — 3 years ago
