Clean and dry. Slight effervescence. Big green apple. Nice on a hot day. — 7 years ago
Gift from Todd L who’s a club member of the winery. Medium red fruit with light chocolate finish. Refreshing and enjoyable with a Bin 35 burger. Good on a hot summer evening. I also enjoyed without food after dinner. Good body and easy to drink. — a month ago

2010....great great wine — 4 years ago
Purple red, very good clarity, moderately extracted pigment. Spearmint, thyme and raspberry notes in nose. Raspberry, cola flavors, tangerine peel finish. Nice acidity, medium body, slight seed bitterness in aftertaste. Needs a little time to integrate after opening. Moderate skin astringency emerges after 30 minutes. 24 hours later, boom, cherry and plum flavors with depth. Super wine if you can decant it long enough, impressive varietal character — 6 years ago
A very plush wine and similar in feel to other Krankl wines except very different flavor profile. Hard to explain other than I have never had a straight Graciano. Lavender, mint, Indian spices, and pepper. I would love to try this again in 4-5 years. — 7 years ago
Incredibly perfumed, dark florals, violets, beautiful beautiful wine. — 13 hours ago
Large nose of black cherry and oak, vanilla. Softened and slightly chalky tannins, beautifully balanced. Great mouthfeel, ripe but not overpowering dark red and black fruit, slight camphor, pencil shavings, wet stone. Very very nice. Medium + finish. Drinking wonderfully now. — a month ago
Smooth, fruity, high alcohol. — a year ago
Decanted 45 min though think it needs more time, very young wine. Very aromatic fruit when opening the bottle. Dark red fruit - black cherry and plum, raspberry; chocolate, coffee, graphite, pepper, plush tannins, well integrated acidity, high ABV but hides it well. Medium finish. Will be interesting to see this evolve over next few years in the cellar. — 6 years ago

Wow, this is an amazing and unique SB. Bold, dense, yet very drinkable. Honeydew, apricot, apple and melon. — 7 years ago

Trying some 2017 Napa cabs lately. This is another really good one for a tough year. Lots of life left year. Still a bit tight on open, but 30 minutes later drinking well. BlackBerry, cassis, graphite, black licorice, plum, wet stone. Lovely wine. Surprised by how good some of these 17s are aging. Excited to try them again in a few years. — a day ago
