2009 vintage held up beautifully. There are mineral notes on the nose, slight Petrol aroma, but the taste is sublime — 20 days ago
Super solid. Would have guessed Watervale blind. Fresh lime acidity, a whiff of petrol fumes and honeysuckle — a month ago
Impressive! Tense and lively w/ impressive length. — a month ago
Stone fruit and a bit of acid on the finish. Fantastic local wine. — 23 days ago
One of nicest wines, full of dark fruit and flavour that is complex and long lasting on the tongue. Soft on tannins and so enjoyable. — 13 days ago
Yesterday evening I opened the 2015 Cave Spring Estate Cabernet Franc Beamsville Bench Niagra Escarpment.
On the nose was cherry, strawberry, raspberry, mint and smokey oak.
The palate had notes of strawberry, raspberry, red currant, green bell pepper, herbs, cinnamon and smokey oak.
This wine is medium bodied with medium to + acidity and medium fine tannins that leads to a medium to long fruit finish. Not as impressed as the 2012 that I had awhile back. Enjoy the weekend and be safe. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷 — 2 months ago
Wow!! Very surprisingly good. Light, juicy, fruity, strawberry. Definitely didn’t think this kind of Pinot existed in Ontario. — 6 days ago
