The 2016 “Cuvèe Aux Petites Noix” pours a very pretty ruby color with a transparent core; medium viscosity with moderate staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of tart and ripe red fruits: raspberries, strawberries, cherry, and some warm spices. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+. A lovely wine showing well in its early drinking window. To my palate, better after 2031 and through 2041. — 3 months ago

Vintage 2011 | Beautiful Marsannay old vines, my wife reminds me that the Bourgognes from Fournier reflect a Bordeaux character, they are strict. But this wine has a bouquet with frivolous fruit, very nice and we taste a glass Fronsac next to it. Conclusion: awesome Pinot noir 😜 paired with a beef schnitzel and ratatouille. — 3 months ago
Sipping Fine Wine
A blend of mostly Merlot with a little Cabernet Franc, deep ruby red color with a bouquet of dark black fruit, and a slight herb nose, aged for 12 months in oak. On the palate flavors of blackberry, currant and cherry, with licorice and herbs. Fine grainy tannins, long finish ending with fruit, spice and a touch of earthy mineral notes. — a month ago
