A shockingly vibrant orange color with reddish pink accents. The bubbles are tiny and persistent. 45/35/20 PN/CH/PM with 15% of still Pinot Noir added in and it shows. The sweetness level is fine and appropriate at 9 g/ dosage. Fresh raspberries on the nose immediately and they never leave. Plums and strawberries make their mark along with a touch of brioche buns and butterscotch.
Sleek, elegant, and sexy. This has all the markings of a big champagne house rosé and that’s not a bad thing. As pleasant as a warm spring day with flowers blooming all around with that extra generosity and class you expect. Very sensual and lush in your mouth and on your tongue. Wonderful minerality and red fruits on the palate. Earthiness and spice make themselves known, as well. A dash of smoke on the medium to long finish. Truly exquisite stuff, especially for a NV bottle. — 4 years ago
Wife’s rating- “sweet/fruity on the tongue but a dry finish. Straight tase of strawberry. Not effervescent. House favorite around here.” Great rosé for the price. — 5 months ago
All kinds of green garden aroma, strawberry, and light cherry on the nose... On the palate, this is very much alive with flavors of raspberry, strawberry, maybe nectarine. Floral scents pop through as well. Make no mistake about it... This is cheap and cheerful, but the very best of cheap and cheerful. We buy this a lot. Try the red and the white as well. They are all tremendous at this price category. Perrin is a name we see a lot of in our area, and for those interested in trying the rest of their range, I encourage that. Many years ago, I used this house's wines as my introduction to the characteristic styles of the different villages in the southern Rhone. I guess that's why I feel connected to the house even in their cheaper expressions. This rose wine pairs well with so many foods with its acidity, so it makes a great go-to. Buy it by the bottle. Buy it by the box. — 4 years ago
My ‘ house’ wine shared w friends & paired with baked Cod & Roquefort sauce, roasted vegetables, & barley. Pretty in color & on the palate: rusted rose hips, some distant forest floor. Medium plus acidity but enough to cut through the Roquefort sauce, & low enough tannins to not spar with the cod. — 3 years ago
Merry Christmas Eve-Eve!!! 🎄🎁🎅❄️🌟⛄️
Maybe, it’s the Christmas spirit and/or I really needed a good glass Rosé Champagne tonight but, I don’t recall this ever tasting better. Could simply be a better disgorgement? Ah, I’ll just say it’s Christmas Magic! Cheers! 🍾🥂
Shots around the house listening to our Christmas Eve Mix.
Yup, that’s my Wine Snowman! ⛄️
Be pairing this later with the Shari’s Chocolate Covered Strawberries that arrived today.
