A monster on decline. Opened it at 10am, decanted it at 4pm, started sipping at 7.30pm. Deep garnet color, incense with fig jam on the nose, oriental spices blended with wild cherry, blueberry wnd dried fig on the palate. I should've opened it 3 years ago. Still, quite an experience. — a month ago
Paired w/salted caramel Panna Cotta — 4 months ago
Decanted before drinking-earthy tones to start, as it opened up it became more light bodied and slightly fruitier (black cherries).
I gave it a 9.8 cuz it’s my birthday! — 8 months ago

Quite a classic barolo, high acid high alcohol high tannin. Soft and elegant, old style? — 14 days ago
Lovely. Smooth. Definite currents/raisins. Low tannins. Lovely with prime beef roast. A definite buy again. — 6 months ago
One of the few Chianti Classico I really love even if we find no trace of Canaiolo in this Sangiovese and Merlot blend. Noble woods give strength and austerity to a splendid bouquet of red fruits and officinal herbs. — 4 years ago
Anthony De Blasi
Personally: the king of Amarone! I adore Bussola! Do not let the 17,5% fool you, the fruit is still very present even though the alcohol is clearly noticeable. Liquid gold! — 6 days ago
